360 degree video created for the RNLI documenting a training day of the Weymouth Lifeboat.

The video was created by Patrick Bishop. Additional video clips were provided by Jude Butcher and Dave Hotchkiss. Still images were photographed by Nigel Millard.

The video was a mix of 3D computer graphics, high definition video, animated motion graphics and still images.

To get the best coverage for filming we used 2 manned high definition cameras capturing as much of the action as possible. This footage was supplemented with up to 9 GoPro cameras filming point of view shots around the lifeboat and also worn by several crew members. This allowed a lot of angles and footage to be obtained with a small production crew.
