Media Innovation Awards 2011

Media Innovation Awards 2011

The winners of the fifth annual Media & Innovation Awards 2011 were revealed in June at a glittering gala dinner hosted by BBC Radio Devon presenter David Fitzgerald at the Holiday Inn, Plymouth.

Run in association with the University of Plymouth and the Creative Industries iNet, the awards celebrate the very best work produced by creative and media industries across the South West of England.

We won in the Radio/Audio/Music category for a video called ‘Bach360′

The video was created in association with the ICCI at Plymouth University, who initiated the project.

The aim was to film an orchestra in 360 degree video with 6.1 surround sound to be shown in the ICCI’s 360 degree arena. We wanted the audience to feel as if they were right in the centre of the orchestra during their performance.

Video was shot on Ladybug 3 camera. Surround sound audio was mixed by Nolan Pearce and Patrick Bishop
